The phone faces into the belt clip.I have read some of the 3 star and below reviews and I wonder if this isn't operator error. This is by no means meant as derogatory towards those people who have rated this product poorly but was the front of the phone facing the inside of the belt clip? I got mine six months ago and the thing works like a charm, if it is facing inwards. My wife hated her's at first but that was because it was facing outwards and ANY movement would make it slip from or fall from the belt clip. This design offers extra protection because you have a hard platic back between the screen of your phone and any material or objects that could damage it. All in all great product and no complaints on my part.
Otterbox Replacement Belt Clip
Works fine. Turns a bit easier than the original, but other than that is identical.
Excellent Product
The Otterbox IPhone Defender case is flexible and easy to use. I now have room in my pants pockets for more useful things... like lint balls! Just kidding. I love this product.
Bad clip
This is a ridiculously poor clip and at stark variance to the claims for the Otter box itself. The i-Phone comes out of the clip with startling ease. This is true, even if the phone/case is fully "engaged" in the clip. Seat belts are a particular nemesis, but chair arms, coats etc. can catch it readily as well.
As others have said, I have never had this problem with other clips.
It is also easy for it to appear the phone is engaged, but itis not.
This product damages Otterbox's reputation.
OtterBox belt clip for iPhone
Belt clip shipped out very fast and arrived quickly. Works perfectly. I had lost my old belt clip, and the retail stores wanted to charge me over 50 bucks for a new one. This is a perfect replacement for the original one that came with the OtterBox.
