Needs modification to workShave down the small plastic on the sides and possibly even snip the metal prongs to lock the connection into your phone, THEN.... it will work.
Great replacement
I kept going through iPhone chargers as the wiring near the join would split. This is a durable charger at a great price.
I tried four - and None worked
Well, I purchased four of these from one vendor - each would allow me to access my iPhone 3GS for updates, NONE would charge the iPhone. Worthless. I found a fifth from another vendor, which DOES work - I keep it as an emergency backup, and don't use it much. The plain "electric plug to charge an iPhone" cheapie charger I purchased does that job without problems - it helps charge the iPhone when I'm not on my PC, or need to travel. -- I'm not sure now of exactly which vendors are which - I just pass on my experience to the wary buyers out there. Good luck gambling with a $1 or $2 a unit, plus shipping.
Works fine but may not fit some iPhone cases
This works as advertised, but the size of the connector may not fit some cases. I ordered this to use with my iPhone but the connector will not fit. If I remove the case it is fine. Just beware the size of the connector is much larger than the standard Belken connectors that sell for $30. I ended up buying the Belken, and using this connector for my iPod Touch. Nothing wrong with the connector just will not work with some cases.
Does not work w/3GS or iPod 6th gen
Bought this because it was cheap. Both of my i-devices rejected it, so I threw it away.
