Good charger for the price
It works great for iPhone. I had to modify it slightly to fit through the Otterbox Defender case, but it does the job.

You get what you pay for
I have bought cheap items before and this item seems -- very hit or miss. Here is my experience:
- It charges your Iphone/ Ipod very slowly, if at all. After 30 min of using this charger, my Iphone went battery rose from 75% to 77%.
- The item burned out and stopped working after about 5 days.

All in all, it was cheap, did not work, and went in the garbage..

Seriously what is going on with Amazon sellers. No phones first now the chargers. I dont have all the money to be doing this....

Try before you buy
I purchased 3 of the Car Chargers for Apple 3G iPhone. We have 3 family iPhones and believed it important to have access to charging from our vehicles. However ever though these chargers are identified with iPhone 3G the connection is to large to fit into the slot of the iphone while in a Otter Box security case. They may work fine without the case but I feel so secure with Otter Box I will not live without it.
