Perfect size and great around the water!We purchased several different size day packs for our trip to Cancun. This was the perfect size to hold several books, the camera, sun screen, ipods, etc... Much easier to get in an out of than the Baja dry bags. Kept the sand out while at the beach and water out when we used it at one of the excursions for a ecological park.

It's a nice product but it takes more space that you would probably want compared to how much you can stick into it.

Great bag for protection from water & sand
I purchased this bag to hold and protect my digital SLR camera and an extra lens while vacationing in Jamaica. It worked perfectly, and had extra room for my ipod, yet another lens, and a few other things. I couldn't decide on what size to purchase, and if I had it to do over, I would have ordered one size smaller, but better to have a littler extra room than not enough!
The bag's strap was adjustable, but we couldn't figure out how to keep the rubber shoulder protection thing centered after adjusting to a shorter length. Not a huge deal, though, just odd.
The mesh pocket on the outside came in handy for various things (like sun screen, etc.) Would have been nice to have some pockets on the inside as well.
The bag had a sort of insulated feel to it, and I felt, even though it was hot and humid outside, that my camera was kept at a safe temperature (my black camera wasn't in the blazing sun soaking up all the heat).
Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'll use it for all my vacations, and probably for trips to the local pool, as well.
Just back from using on vacation
Just back from Aruba and this was a life saver. Since it was their rainy season I used this a lot as a purse. There was a daily rainstorm that usually lasted about 10 minutes but it was a deluge of water and nothing in this ever got wet or filled with sand. Plenty of room inside for camera, small video camera and whatever else you need to keep dry.
