Eureka lightweight vacuumNever thought anything so inexpensive would be so efficient. Perfect for picking up dog hair. Great for a quick clean up of wood floors. Can't comment on using it on carpets. My floors are all wood.
lightweight stick vacuum
This stick vacuum is great. It is lightweight, and small enough to be stored in a small closet. The power of the suction is sufficent for its size. I use it on my hardwood floors, ceramic tile floors and some area rugs. it does not harm any surfaces For the price it is a very good buy.
Perfect for the RV
I bought the Eureka boss for use in our RV and when I unpacked it, my opinion was that it was very flimsy and could break easily. I tried it in the RV and it cleaned the hard floor and the carpeted areas very well. My thought was - thank goodness we have no children here as the cleaner would be broken in a flash, but with careful adults it works well.
Absolutely Great!
I never knew that vacuuming could be so easy! I'm almost 76 years old and using a regular upright vacuum was a real chore. The belt broke on the upright last week and I couldn't get the new belt to install and the roller wouldn't go back in the slot. It was then that I took a look at these lightweight vacuums. I selected the Eureka because it could also be used as a handheld vacuum. I have handheld vacuums, but how easy it would be to not need to use two different machines. Looking at the value price, I knew I had little to lose. Well, the Eureka Lightweight arrived yesterday and I was so impressed with how it made my life so much easier that I almost immediately threw the old upright in the trash. Really. I didn't have time to explore all the ways the new vacuum will help me with the cleaning but look out tomorrow! I like the included crevice tool, too. One of the real niceties is that I always had a problem vacuuming the carpeting in our bathroom with the upright and using a handheld required me to get down on the floor to vacuum... remember I'm 76 and with my arthritis, it's no easy task to get back up once I get down. This little miracle easily handles the small spaces and I can use the crevice tool to assist here. The telescoping handle is not only helpful when using the vacuum as a handheld, but also minimizes the storage space. Wow!
Does the job for a great price
My entire downstairs is laminate flooring and with two kids, hubby's boots, etc it is a beast to keep clean. I bought this based on reviews, in tandem with the Eureka 313A Enviro steam mop. I am thrilled with both products. The vacuum to get the debris off the floor before mopping makes the process fast and easy.
The fact that it turns into a hand-held is an added bonus. The extendable handle makes the hand-held even more beneficial, no crouching to vacuum between the fridge and the wall, no hands and knees for the tough to reach corners!
The suction impressed me for the price. It picks up cheerios no problem.
The low profile of the front is a plus. I can vacuum all the way under the sofas from one side, the vacuum will lay almost completely flat without the front coming off the floor.
One thing to note, though it will work on light floor rugs (kitchen rugs, bathmats) it is not intended to use on carpet! Don't buy this to vacuum carpet, you will be disappointed.
