A slice of WW2 in a back corner of the war.
Excellent re-creation of the book,but the ending was changed to conform to a typical Hollywood happy ending. I would have prefered the original poignient ending. Nevertheless,a great chick flick.

Couldn't view the movie
Received the DVD and got about 20 minutes into the movie and the DVD stopped working; had to send it back to Amazon for a refund.
