Hi and welcome to my Geo Targetted BANS demo site.

Geo what?

When you arrived here, my Mod to BANS identified which country you are from based on your IP address and tried to show auctions relevant to your local eBay site.

So if you are in the US, you get www.ebay.com auctions, the UK gets www.ebay.co.uk etc.

If my mod fails to identify your country, it defaults back to which ever country the store was installed as - in this example it has been set to US.

However, if you are having issues seeing stuff from your country, you can click one of the flags over there on the right to see auctions from a different country.

Also note how, once you have chosen a flag, the store pages on the left also now link to show auctions from that country too!

Also note that all the auctions show the correct links to the relevant eBay store and also the eBay logo and "show more items on eBay" link also go through to the correct location.

Amazing eh?

Usage

This is where it gets a bit sticky....

To use this mod properly (once it has been installed), you need to get rid of your eBay category numbers from your store pages in the BANS admin - completely!

Why?

Because eBay does not use the same category numbers on each of their countries sites. So showing items for each country automatically will not work...

WHAT A PAIN!

It is pretty easy to set up though, through the correct use of eBay search parameters on each store page.

So - the bottom line is... to use this mod you will pretty much need to totally re-do your store. But its a good opportunity to install BANS and Wordpress together.

Where can I get this mod?

Well... at the moment this is just a demo and is not available to buy.

Yes - I will be releasing this and charging for this mod but at the moment I am not sure when it will be released, how much it will be or what extra functions I will build into it.
